The "Kitchen Staff" as they call themselves at our Appreciation Lunch on Wednesday, June 27th, 2007.  

We began serving lunches in January of 2005…some interesting facts, we have served over 7,000 lunches   In 2005, we averaged 320 lunches a month; in 2006 we averaged 193 a month and this year (2007) we are averaging 160 per month.   Unfortunately, we have had a decline in interest from the members for our lunch program.   The minimum lunch we can order is 10 lunches a day….some days we have had not any orders….our caterer has questioned whether it is cost effective delivering just 10 lunches a day due to the rise in gasoline prices.   Our contract with the caterer expires on June 30th, so it is with much sadness, for the aforementioned reasons and insufficient interest we can not justify its continuation.   We are going to discontinue our lunch program effective June 30, 2007 and will not renew our contract.  

Look for announcements for special lunches for special occasions!
